Episode 27: Halloween 1 and 2

The temps are dropping, the days are getting shorter, the leaves are changing color, and people are drinking pumpkin spice everything! Must be Halloween time, so is there any other movie to talk about? Scott runs down the classic 1978 John Carpenter movie Halloween while Jake runs down more of the night he came home with Halloween 2.

Episode 26: Last Action Hero and Cowboys & Aliens

So we begin boring some nonfootball people with fantasy football talk (including a head to head matchup between your two hosts), then news stories about remakes (big shocker), then we dive into more action movies. Jake talks about Arnold Schwarzennegger making fun of himself in Last Action Hero while Scott talks about Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford in Cowboys & Aliens. 

Music comes from the Last Action Hero soundtrack (Tesla, AC/DC and Megadeth) and For Today.

Next time we meet, we begin another major retrospective. So soon you say? Well, it's one that has to be talked about. That's right, Halloween 1 and 2 are the subjects next week.

Episode 25: George Romero's Dead Trilogy

When there is no more room in Hell, they will come for you, Barbara and start running this monkey farm!

This one has been talked about for a long time, and the time has finally come. Mike, a friend of Scott's and a big time zombie fan, joins the Mofos to talk about the grand daddies of zombie movies: Night, Dawn and Day of the Dead. Prepare for good talks about this highly regarded trilogy, and a brief talk about the remakes and the second half of the trilogy. Which of these do the Mofos and their guest prefer?

Music is from Avenged Sevenfold and from the Black Ops game.

Episode 24: Tropic Thunder and 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag

Do you like comedies with severed heads? Well we've got the show for you! Scott talks about the Ben Stiller movie Tropic Thunder while Jake runs down a little lesser known movie called 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag with Joe Pesci. Music is Flo Rida (last minute decision by us, that's our excuse), Get Scared and GWAR.

Another short episode but next week will be an epic one. For episode 25 we will be talking about George Romero's Dead trilogy with a special guest.

Stinger: Scott's encounter with a clown and Jake's tale of raising hell during Trick or Treat.

Episode 23: The Will Ferrellsode, Stepbrothers and The Other Guys

This episode is dedicated to the memory of Wes Craven.

Gator needs his gat, punk ass bitch! Arguably one of the funniest guys out there, Will Ferrell is the subject of this show. Jake runs down Step Brothers with John C. Reily and Scott talks about the buddy cop movie The Other Guys with Mark Wahlberg. Recording this episode didn't take too long but it's all made up for with the amount of clips we put in.

Music in this episode comes from Hall and Oates and Disturbed. Quite a mix, huh?

Episode 22: The A-Team and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

4 Score and 7 years ago, I pitied the fool. Action movies are the subject at hand once again. Scott does the 2010 remake of the A-Team featuring Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper, while Jake talks about our 16th president kicking ass and taking names in Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Slow news week featuring a guy making the ultimate romantic gesture and a famous house going for sale. Music is from Green Day and Linkin Park.

Episode 21: Jason Goes to Hell, Space and Remakeland

We've made it through our first major retrospective! And can we go one damn episode without Skype cutting off?!! It starts with Jake running down Jason becoming a body-hopping demon in Jason Goes To Hell, Scott goes to Hell as well running down Jason X, and it all ends with the remake. How does that one hold up with other ones? Plus Jake talks at the beginning about the new Fantastic Four movie. Well, that's four of them, they got that part right (Spoilers in there if you care).

Music comes from Adema, From Ashes to New, and Dethklok.

Coming next week, time to go back to action movies. Scott will run down the 2010 A-Team with Liam Neeson and Jake will talk about Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.

Episode 20 The New Blood and Jason Takes Manhattan

Another part of our huge retrospective continues. Jason battles a girl who happens to have telekinesis and goes to New York. Well, for the last half of the movie anyway. Our short opening segment last week is made up with a bit of news regarding a famous 80s killer returning once again (maybe they'll get it right this time?) along with a famous violent video game movie.

Music is Rob Zombie featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Saint Astonia.

We reach the end of the retrospective next week, fitting three movies into our show for the first time in a while. So we'll wrap it up with Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X and the remake.

Episode 19: Friday the 13th The New Beginning and Jason Lives

He's back! He's the man behind the mask! And he doesn't like those damn enchiladas and pronouncing names "Debusey"! After an opening of the tragic news of Roddy Piper's death, Scott ranting about Five Night At Freddy's and Sharknado and the briefest What Have You Been Watching segment yet, Jake runs down the black sheep of the Friday family The New Beginning. Is that title justified? After that, Jason is back for sure as Scott runs down Jason Lives. Music in the episode is mostly Alice Cooper, also Pseudo Echo and Wednesday 13.

Next week, Jason battles Carrie and heads off to Manhattan (or Canada)

Episode 18: Friday the 13th part 3 and The Final Chapter

It's time for a 3D Friday movie! See things like popcorn, yo-yos, wallets, baseball bats and poles coming at you! Isn't this exciting? Doesn't it make you want to upgrade to a 3D TV?  Also Jason meets his match in a young Corey Feldman while George McFly does stupid dance moves. We also got music from "Weird Al" Yankovic and Metallica.

Next week, Jason comes back. Does he come back in Part 5 the New Beginning or in Part 6 Jason Lives? Hmmmmmmmmm
