Episode 37: Kolchak the Night Stalker: The Ripper and The Zombie

Two episodes in one week! Ain't you so lucky? This time around Newty from NFW Podcast joins in to talk about his favorite show Kolchak the Night Stalker and we run down the first two episodes of the show. And Jake can't get the boss' name right if his life depended on it!

Due to quick turnaround, not much in the opening segment. Just football trash talking, quick news and Jake talks about Krampus and if you should go out and see it (spoilers: you should).

Episode 36: Tales From the Crypt: The Man Who Was Death and All Through the House

Greetings, Boils and Ghouls! Strap right in for a frightful new episode! Subject at hand is one of the most famous horror TV anthologies ever, and we will be talking about the first two episodes. Jake talks about The Man Who Was Death while Scott runs down the Christmas episode All Through the House (just in time for the holidays!).

Talks about fantasy as well of course, and there could be a playoff matchup between the Mofos! News stories about the Strangers 2 and some more development on the new Friday the 13th. Plus Jake talks about a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Christmas special he watched (spoilers: you have to see it for yourself).

Music in this episode is all Stone Temple Pilots in honor of Scott Weiland.

Episode 35: Zack & Miri Make a Porno and Planes, Trains and Automobiles

What should you be thankful for? A new Unholy Mofos that's what! We open with talking about the best damn week of football ever (to Jake at least), news and What You've Been Watching segment containing a few Marvel shows.

Then it's time for the main course, a few Thanksgiving time comedies. Jake has about a lot of poo talk in his run down of Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Scott then talks about the classic John Hughes movie Planes Trains and Automobiles featuring Steve Martin and John Candy.

Music comes from Jermain Stewart, Breathe Carolina and Balaam and the Angel.

Episode 34: The Rundown and The Wraith

Charlie Sheen, Randy Quaid, The Rock, Sean William Scott and Christopher Walken. This sounds like the craziest party ever, doesn't it? Actually this is episode 34 of Unholy Mofos, where action movies are the subject. This week Scott runs down the Rundown (ha! Ha! Get it?!), the action comedy from 2003 and Jake talks about a little known sci-fi action called The Wraith from 1986. Plus Jake reads a list of more awesome 80's slashers and Friday the 13th movie that almost were (and thank goodness they weren't!).

Music is totally 80's this week. Mostly coming from the Wraith soundtrack (Tim Feehan, LaMarca, and Lion) and Quiet Riot.

Next time we meet up, Thanksgiving will be over but that doesn't mean we can't talk about movies that take place around that time, right? So Jake will talk about Zack and Miri Make a Porno with Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks while Scott will talk about Planes, Trains and Automobiles with Steve Martin and John Candy.

Episode 33: Anchorman 1 & 2, the Clipathon

Ladies and gentlemen, I have just been handed an urgent news bulletin. Episode 33 of Unholy Mofos is the most epic one yet! A long intro of fantasy football disappointment, news stories and a What You've Been Watching featuring the worst movie ever, a kickass Christopher Nolan movie and Marvel's Agents of Shield.

Then it's time for the main feature, Will Ferrell returns to the show with his most iconic role yet, Ron Burgundy in Anchorman 1 & 2. If you're looking for clips galore and tons of giggling, this is the show for you!

Feedback comes from Stan once again, Scott gives out a challenge to other podcasts and Jake gets a little more weird than usual in the closing segment.

Episode 32: Swamp Thing and House on Haunted Hill (fixed)

Apparently Scott had things to do so this episode is a quickie. Hope you can enjoy what we got anyway. This week Scott talks about Adrianne Barbeau's titties in a PG movie in Wes Craven's Swamp Thing. Next up Jake talks about the 1999 version of House on Haunted Hill with Chris Kattan and Geoffrey Rush. Plus a brief talk about the 1959 Vincent Price version. News and What You've Been Watching is extremely brief, but we do bring up the tragic passing of Gunnar Hansen, the original Leatherface. Stayed tuned after the show for an interview we decided to plug in.

Episode 31: Tommy Boy and Black Sheep

Holy Schnikes! It's a Chris Farley and David Spade double feature! That means so many clips it's like we're putting the damn movies on and lots of Chris Farley impressions (Stan, have your volume button ready). Jake runs down the first feature Tommy Boy and then Scott covers Black Sheep. It's so damn sad we couldn't get more of these two together (RIP Chris). And once again, Stan the Man is our feedbacker this week. Keep it up, Stan!

Next week, well damn it's back to horror after only a week! Scott wants to talk about Swamp Thing from Wes Craven and Jake will run down the 1999 remake of House on Haunted Hill.

Episode 30: Halloween H20 and Resurrection

We have reached the end of our Halloween retrospective. No Rob Zombie movies, sorry. And this episode is a quickie, only made it to standard time because of the closing song. Anyways, Scott runs down Jamie Lee Curtis returning to the series and Michael's mask changing constantly in Halloween Water. Then Jake gives a very inspired rundown of Halloween Resurrection, in record time. Also more feedback courtesy of Stan the Man from Time After Time Horror Podcast, so thank you Stan.

Michael's out and looking for revenge in part 5, while stupid teenagers go out and act stupid for him to kill. That's all in Scott's rundown, while Jake talks about the method to Michael's madness in The Curse of Michael Myers. Also talks about the Producer's Cut, which is an entirely different movie itself. And why Michael might be the original 40 Year Old Virgin.

Episode 28: Halloween Season of the Witch and Return of Michael Myers

It's almost time, kids! Put on your masks and listen to the Mofos talk about the much maligned Halloween 3 starring Tom Atkins. Does it deserve it's reputation just because Michael Myers isn't in it? Well, if you want more Myers, he's back in part 4. And boy does his mask suck! How is the movie though? Listen and find out. Plus news stories featuring some new Scream Factory releases and people who do Halloween decorations right (depending on who you ask at least).
