Episode 113: Jaws 3D and Revenge
Sunday Aug 13, 2017
Sunday Aug 13, 2017
Join us in discussing possibly the biggest downfall a series has taken, ho boy. See some 3D effects that make Friday the 13th Part 3's look magnificent, and a movie that says sharks can apparently hold grudges so large it makes them defy science (and good filmmaking).
Music:
Little Mermaid - Under the Sea
Hatebreed - From Grace We've Fallen
Shinedown - Sound of Madness
Next week we try to get the taste of these movies out by talking some Coen Brothers with The Big Lebowski and Fargo.

Episode 112: Jaws 1 and 2
Sunday Aug 06, 2017
Sunday Aug 06, 2017
It's quite a weird episode. Scott is the one doing the long winded rundown and Sean is the one doing a real quick one (while trying not to get dropped from the call once again). Damn, what alternate dimension did we step into? Actually Scott is talking about the classic Steven Spielberg flick Jaws, which deserves some respect. But is Sean's short rundown of part 2 justified? Also a brief spoiler filled talk about Spiderman Homecoming (29:20 - 39:20 if you want to avoid getting spoiled) and more.
Music:
Sum 41 - Black Eyes
Toki Wartooth - Underwater Friends
Dethklok - Murmaider II: The Water God
I know what you're asking. We aren't gonna do Jaws 3 and 4 next week are we? Hey, we've done some franchises that ended real shitty, we can do another one. Gotta take the bad with the good. So that's what's coming up.
Outtakes: Talking about the Emojis movie that leads into the bottom rated movies of IMDB, that goes longer while Sean's Skype issues get worse. Also Sean's dog hurts him.

Episode 111: Tales From the Crypt Presents Demon Knight and Bordello of Blood
Tuesday Aug 01, 2017
Tuesday Aug 01, 2017
We are back after a month hiatus (at least from the regular show format) and boy do we have a show for you! First an hour long opening segment of news stories (mostly trailers) and what we've been watching. Then it's time for the main feature where we discuss the two Tales From the Crypt movies. Jake butchers Jada Pinkett's character's name a few times, Sean has an accident outside his apartment, and much more!
Music:
Filter - Hey Man Nice Shot
Machine Head - Demon Knight (My Misery)
Sweet - Ballroom Blitz
Shinedown - Cut the Cord
Next time, yet another franchise, this time we talk about the Jaws movies, maybe with a special guest?

Episode 110: Down Periscope and McHale's Navy
Saturday Jul 08, 2017
Saturday Jul 08, 2017
Two Navy movies. Because of the quick turnaround, this is a real short one. And there's even more Skype issues. Yay. Plus real quick Fucked Up News Story, Jake watched Power Rangers again, and maybe a bit more.
Music:
Village People - In The Navy
Kingsman - Louie Louie
Stevie Ray Vaughn - The House is a Rockin'
Party Posse - Drop the Bomb
Next time we meet, which may be at the end of the month, we will discuss Tales From the Crypt. Not the TV show, the movies Demon Knight and Bordello of Blood

Sunday Jul 02, 2017
Episode 109: Half Baked and Pineapple Express
Sunday Jul 02, 2017
Sunday Jul 02, 2017
After a few space episodes, we're back down to Earth but our heads are still up in the clouds. Because we are doing a few stoner comedies, starting with the 1998 Dave Chappelle vehicle Half Baked followed by the 2008 Seth Rogen-James Franco movie Pineapple Express. Don't worry, no actual weed was smoked during the actual show, we're just that silly.
Music:
Rick James - Mary Jane
Bloodhound Gang - Along Comes Mary
Fire From the Gods - Excuse Me
Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue
Afroman - Because I Got High
Next time we'll be doing some Navy comedies with McHale's Navy and Down Periscope. Also it's gonna be a quick turnaround, and we may or may not be off for a while. Details at the end of the show.
Outtakes: Sean making noises

Tuesday Jun 27, 2017
Episode 108: Alien 3 and Resurrection
Tuesday Jun 27, 2017
Tuesday Jun 27, 2017
So we finish the Alien franchise... for now. We get the moment you've been waiting for: is there a big divide when it comes to Alien 3? And then we wrap it up with Alien Resurrection (Not Alien ERECTION of course). All this plus attempted crocodile sex, more IT remake news, and more.
Music:
Nine Inch Nails - Dead Souls
Devour The Day - Respect
Memphis May Fire - Virus
Next week, we'll come back down to Earth, but we'll still be high, as stoner comedies are the subject with Half Baked and Pineapple Express.
Outtakes: Somebody gets "fired"

Sunday Jun 18, 2017
Episode 107: Alien and Aliens
Sunday Jun 18, 2017
Sunday Jun 18, 2017
In space, no one can hear you podcast. That's right, we're still in space this episode to start a new franchise retrospective, the Alien franchise. Sean's doing the first movie while getting damn close to tying his record for the Scrooged rundown, and Jake has many Bill Paxton impressions galore for the followup Aliens.
Music:
Nine Inch Nails - Head Like a Hole
Hyprocrisy - Eraser
The Browning - Black Hole
Next time, we'll actually finish the retrospective with Alien 3 and Resurrection. Maybe someday we'll do the prequels and AVP, but mostly just sticking to the first 4... mostly. And tune in to that to see if Jake still hates part 3.
Outtakes: Jake shows his hand before the show even starts, and funny insult names.

Sunday Jun 11, 2017
Episode 106: Event Horizon and Interstellar
Sunday Jun 11, 2017
Sunday Jun 11, 2017
Well first of all, we have to start this episode with a tribute and moment of silence for Adam West who passed away the day of the recording. Then after the opening, we go into space. First with arguably the only good movie Paul WS Anderson has ever done Event Horizon with Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neil. Then it's time for a mindbending feelsfest by Christopher Nolan known as Interstellar.
Music:
Stitched Up Heart - Event Horizon
Han Zimmer - No Time For Caution
William Shatner - Rocket Man
Next time, well we will be staying in space, for the next two weeks actually. Because it's time for another retrospective, this time the Alien franchise.
Outtakes: Movie titles that sound like pooping.
